GoZone FAQs

How should I care for my GoZone?

The GoZone is not waterproof, so make sure to keep it clear of any liquids! Use the safety strap and clip to keep it securely attached to you at all times. The belt clip is not included in the GoZone warranty so please be careful when taking the GoZone on and off.

Where should I wear my GoZone?

The GoZone should be attached to your clothing along your waistline, with the “Virgin Life Care” logo facing outwards.

Does the GoZone work if I am riding my bike?

Yes, while riding a bike, the most effective way of wearing the GoZone is on the side of your shoe with the safety strap attached.

What is the memory limit on the GoZone? Will I lose any steps beyond that limit?

Your GoZone’s internal memory will stop counting steps after 2 weeks of use without an upload. If the GoZone memory is over 75% full, the numbers on the display screen will stop being counted. You must upload your GoZone to clear the memory so that the display screen will start counting your steps again.

If your GoZone memory reaches 100% full, the GoZone will stop recording steps altogether until you upload the steps to clear the GoZone memory.

Does my GoZone have a warranty?

The GoZone has a limited one-year warranty.

Be sure to check the FAQ’s for help troubleshooting your GoZone. If you are not able to resolve the problem, please contact our call centre on 0860 263 947 or info@virginlifecare.co.za so that a representative can help determine if your GoZone can be authorized as defective and eligible for return.

What is the difference between resetting my GoZone and uploading my steps?

Clearing the display screen (resetting) of your GoZone does not clear the steps held in the memory. The actual steps in the memory are only erased when they are uploaded to the website. Don’t forget to upload your steps at least once or twice a week so that your GoZone's memory doesn't get too full.

I’ve lost my GoZone. Can I use my co-worker’s spare GoZone that is not being used?

Unfortunately, once a GoZone has been registered to an owner it cannot be transferred to a new owner.

If I lose my GoZone, can someone use it to access my personal information?

No. Your GoZone is registered to you, and only through access via your ID number or username and password can your information be viewed.
