How do I view my steps on the Virgin Life Care website?

Once you have uploaded your steps you will be taken directly to your Logbook history page. This Logbook page will default to the “steps” view to allow you to view all your steps that you have taken. You will see these steps displayed on a bar graph. By clicking on the dropdown “view by” menu you will also be able to select to view the distance you have walked in a day and how many calories you have burned both of which are calculated from the number of steps that you have taken. You can view all of this in a weekly, monthly or yearly period. Click on the left and right arrows at the bottom of the graph to scroll to previous or future dates.

You can view your steps at any time by going to www.virginlifecare.co.za and logging in with your username and pin. On the landing/ home page there are 2 ways of getting to your GoZone Logbook:
  • Click on the “GoZone” button on the left hand side of our home page. This will take you directly to your Logbook page.
  • Click on the“exercise” menu at the top of the page and select “GoZone”. This will take you directly to your Logbook page.

How do I set my step target?

This step target is your personal target that you are going to work towards. We recommend that you aim to do at least 7500 steps per day, but understand that it may take a few weeks for you to get there so you are able to change your step target as your fitness/ activity levels increase. Once you have reached your target of 7500, don’t stop there! Aim to increase your target even more!

Once you have set your target, the “track target box” (visible on the top left hand side of the page) will show you how close you are to reaching your target!

When you complete the registration and activation process you will be asked 2 questions which will be used to set your step target. This will be your initial target, but if you would like to update your target at any time there is a simple way of doing this:
  • When you are in your Logbook history page, click on the “change” button above the ‘steps’ graph. This will bring up the 2 questions that you need to answer to update your personal target.

Additional features in the LifeZone logbook

In addition to being able to view your uploaded steps you are also able to log exercise sessions that you have done. This allows you to see a breakdown of what activities you did during the day to make up your steps.

When you are in your Logbook, click on the “add exercise entry” button at the top. You will then be able to select the type of exercise (cardiovascular, group exercise class, circuit training, strength exercise, stretching and played sports), the intensity, the duration (hours and minutes), steps and the distance covered. These will then be added to your logbook graphs. You will see them as different colours from the steps that were uploaded from your GoZone. What is important to note is that these steps that you enter will not be added to your number of steps, but rather allows you to view the breakdown of where you did all your steps.
