How do I use the Exercise Section?

This is where you’ll find all you need to know about exercising healthily; whether it is to view your exercise programme, see how to perform an exercise of your choice, log your exercise in your exercise logbook and more!

Exercise Plan
  1. Health and Fitness Assessment
After completing your Health and Fitness Assessment with a registered Biokineticist, you will receive an exercise plan based on the goals you select during the assessment. Your Biokineticist will then take you through the printed exercise programme, answering any questions that you may have before you embark on your session. This exercise programme will be visible in this section of your LifeZone only if you have completed the assessment.

  2. Energy Quiz
You will get an exercise plan when you complete the Energy Quiz. Your plan is 12 weeks in duration and is based on the goal that you select in the Energy Quiz. Whether you want a weight loss programme or a programme to help train for an upcoming triathlon, we’ve got it for you! Aim to complete the Energy Quiz every 3 months so that you can get an updated exercise plan to keep you motivated and challenged!

Exercise Entry
You can log your exercise habits in the LifeZone exercise logbook to track your performance. All you need to do is fill in the type of exercise you did, the duration and the intensity and we’ll tell you how many calories you burnt that day! Your profile will also show you your weekly/monthly training days, exercise duration and activity breakdown…all the information you need to assess your progress.

Exercise History
If you have been logging your exercise sessions religiously, you will be able to view a history of your sessions in this section.

View an Exercise
All the exercises in your programmes can be viewed on the LifeZone and are demonstrated by our model. You can select an exercise based on equipment used or body part worked, and you can view how to perform a specific exercise from a bicep curl to a hack squat! These animations also have comments accompanying them so you can’t get lost or confused!
